The baby was born on March 29, 1985, in Roswell near New Mexico. Gerina Michelle Mendoza has been her name. Gerina Stevenson is the daughter of Mexican parentage Rita Stevenson and Alan Stevenson. She is Mexican as well as American. She has always been a fan of sports. Gerina took up golf when she reached the age of 15. Gerina finished her high school studies in Goddard High School. While in highschool, Gerina won her first prize at the New Mexico golf state tournament. As well as volleyball, she competed on an official level. The first time she attended at the University of Texas. In her senior year, she won every single tournament that she took part in. In the course of her undergraduate studies she was awarded the title as Conference USA Female Athlete and Conference USA Individual Player of the Years.
