Later, she enrolled in Queen's Gate School to study ballet and act in school productions. When she was 16 she left school in order to pursue a full-time career in acting. Taylor-Joy was always aware that her dream was to be an actress. It was when she achieved that dream, Sarah Doukas founder of Storm Management, offered Taylor-Joy a modelling job.
